CORRECTION:

In our March 2 – 8 2023 issue of thepost, we ran an article titled “Knives out for SR’s Shao” where we wrongly said the former party secretary general, Thabiso Moletsane, had resigned from the SR and joined the Revolution for Prosperity (RFP).

This was not correct.

The correct position is that Moletsane only resigned from the national executive committee and did not defect to any party.

The error is regretted. We apologise unreservedly to Moletsane and others who could have been affected by the error. – Editor
