Econet’s Pokola triples data

Published

ECONET’s customers can now triple their data when they borrow M20 bundle through Pokola Data Advance.
“This service allows customers a chance to borrow data bundles ranging from 50mb at M5 to 1300mb at M50,” Econet says in a statement.
“This means that customers who borrow a data bundle of M20 receive 250mb plus extra 500mb.”

“Just like the existing Pokola Airtime Advance, Pokola Data Advance payment is automatic and recoverable upon the next recharge or within 48 hours, whichever comes first.”

Econet says data advance service is available to prepaid subscribers who have been with the network for at least sixty days and have no outstanding credit on the existing Pokola Airtime Advance.

Credit limit qualification is automatic and depends on the customers’ previous usage.
Itumeleng Mpasi, Econet’s Data Product Manager said the service affords customers the opportunity to borrow data when they need it most.

“These are the most affordable data advance bundles and M20 bundle comes with more than extra data just when you need it,” Mpasi said.
The most appealing feature about Pokola data is the ability for the customer to borrow data for other Econet numbers while the repayment remains with the credit initiating number.

Data advance is accessed under self-service menu upon dialing *100#.
