M25k for LCD sex scandal claims

MASERU– The Lesotho Congress for Democracy (LCD) deputy leader, Tšeliso Mokhosi has sued a party member, Makafane Jaase, for M25 000 in the Maseru magistrtae’s court.

Mokhosi claims Jaase defamed him in his various social media posts where he accused him of having fathered a child that he has neglected.

He also said Jaase told his followers in the social media that he has sex with the party women in exchange for opportunities to be members of parliament.

Mokhosi says these statements are wrong and defamatory in nature.

He says this is just a smear campaign against him because he is willing to contest the deputy leadership position for the next LCD elections
