New Polo Vivo rolls onto market

Bethlehem – VWSA has announced the introduction of the New Polo Vivo.
In a statement, VWSA said the hatch “represents a major leap in value and refinement compared to its predecessor and closest competitors”.
Below we provide an overview of the key specifications, model options and introduction timing.

Range
Firstly, the equipment lines of the new the Polo Vivo range have been changed to harmonise with the rest of the VW range, namely Trendline, Comfortline and Highline.
The new Vivo range will be offered with an expanded engine offering; a 1.4, 1.6 and for the first time a 1.0 TSI engine for the new GT flagship.
The Maxx model will only be available from retail starting in June.

Infotainment

The standard 140G radio offered on the Trendline and Comfortline has all the amenities a customer would need, but for the technology oriented customer, the infotainment system has undergone a significant upgrade with a colour touchscreen R340G now available on the Highline and GT as standard. This feature packed radio is also available as an option on Comfortline models.

Key Feature Enhancements

Steering wheel: A new multifunction steering wheel fitted as standard from Comfortline models upwards.

Wheels: A bigger 15” alloy option (Estrada) is now available on the Trendline and Comfortline models.

Safety: The New Polo Vivo has been upgraded with several new active and passive safety features.
Exterior Paint Colours: 6 exterior paint colours are available with 1 unique exterior colour for the Maxx.
VWSA says it is confident that the new Polo Vivo will exceed customer expectations and uphold its reputation as the most loved A0 entry hatch in South Africa.
