MASERU – PRIME Minister Sam Matekane says he is going to push for the private sector to take a spot against mal-nutrition.

Matekane made this revelation at a three- day high-level dialogue on nutrition financing meeting with the Private Sector and the MPs drawn from the whole African continent.

The dialogue whose purpose was to reflect on Abidjan Declaration is held at ‘Manthabiseng Convention Center.

Under this Declaration, all the stakeholders are expected to implement strategies and measures that could be able to accelerate positive trajectory of financing nutrition.

“We are continuing a journey that we shall see Africa feeding itself and becoming a breakfast for the world,” Matekane said.

He said they could no longer look at nutrition as an issue of food production yet it involves every sector within the cycle of food system.
